* New Year Celebration on January 1^st

* New Year Celebration (Sri Lankan) on April 13th

* Wesak Celebration (Marking the Bith, Enlightenment and Passing Away of the Buddha) on the Full Moon Day in the month of May

* Poson Celebration (marking the arrival of Buddhism in Sri Lanka) on the Full Moon Day in the month of June

* Annual Day of Recollection & Sil Observance for youths in July and August during the school holydays)

* Meditation in the Park, an annual public retreat, in the month of August

* Kathina Ceremony (marking the end of Rainy season and offering the robe and other gifts to the monks) in the month of October
